Understanding Risk: What the Evidence Says About Psychosis

This training explores what current evidence tells us about risk in psychosis. Participants will learn to recognize the signs, symptoms, and clinical features of psychosis, identify factors associated with increased risk for aggressive or violent behavior during psychosis and behavioral health crises, and use evidence-based verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques to support safety, reduce distress, and promote person-centered care.
